Inside

$25.00

Instrumentation: Flute, Trombone & Piano

Difficulty: Moderate/Advanced

Duration: 6’30

Inside is an exploration of what a musical argument would sound like. It is inspired by my experience with internal conflict, where there were two sides of me that both wanted to solve an issue, but could not agree on how. The flute represents an angry, overachieving perspective and the trombone represents a comforting but inattentive perspective. The piano represents someone who is stuck in the middle of the argument; torn between two sides and frustrated that they are being forced to choose.
